The company Arcade Music sold more than ten million copies of various compilations in the series "Synthesizer Greatest" in Europe from 1989 to 1996, all digitally synthesized by the Dutch composer, Ed Starink, at Star Inc. music studios. Starink produced cover versions of melodies by Vangelis, Jean Michel Jarre, Ennio Morricone, Alan Parsons and many others, as well as including his own, original compositions:
